I’m Dave, the guy behind Slowpoke Studio, and I’ve been getting my fingernails dirty with design, sign paint, and murals for most of my adult life save for a few years long rabbit hole detour learning the art of professional coffee roasting just to keep things interesting. Trained in Seattle and based right here in Grand Rapids, MI, I create custom murals, hand-lettered signage, and visual identities for people who are tired of sterile, mass-produced junk. When I’m not up a ladder dripping paint or obsessing over typography, you’ll usually find me running miles on local trails, dreaming of ambitious projects, or living it up with my family. I move at a deliberate pace because rushed work looks like trash, so if you want something built with soul, grit, and zero shortcuts, let’s get to work.
