Hand painted mural on railroad bridge

Ada Railroad Bridge

Railroad Bridge | Ada, MI

Mural

The southern entrance to Ada was marked by a massive, industrial railroad bridge. The infrastructure was functional, but silent. The city needed a facelift to the bridge that would welcome visitors and set an optimistic tone for the village.

I transformed the steel span into a high-impact gateway. Using a deep black background to make the colors pop, I painted "Ada" in large, bright lettering flanked by graphic floral designs that stretch from end to end. Whether you're heading into town or leaving, the message is the same. This is a creative place with a personality and vibe all its own.

Facilitated by the Ada Arts Council and Lions and Rabbits.
