Crow's Hold

Vendor Market | Grand Rapids, MI

Visual Identity | Mural | Signs

When two clients set out to launch a brand-new small-business incubator on Division Avenue, we jumped in at day one to help them name the concept and design the entire brand. The space was built to give local artists, makers, and vintage curators an affordable place to showcase their goods, complete with custom-decorated booths and dedicated checkout staff.

To match the grit and character of the space, we landed on the name Crow's Hold and developed a visual identity centered around an illustrated crow with a gem in its beak—signifying the unique treasures you find inside while nodding to the distinctive diamond tiles on the storefront. We carried that tile history into a bold black and green color palette, then brought the whole brand to life by painting the windows, handling the interior directional signage, and executing a massive focal mural right at the main checkout counter.
